I tracked my browsing for 30 days and was shocked!

Hey Reader! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Like many of you, I realized I was spending way too much time doomscrolling on tabs I *thought* were "work" related. I looked for a simple time tracker extension, but most of them either required a monthly subscription, forced me to create an account, or sent my data to a cloud server (which I didn't love).

So, I built my own: [**MyWebTime**](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mywebtime/moahbcoggcieinghchpcheobanbmiben?authuser=1).

Itโ€™s a smart time tracker and productivity dashboard that runs 100% locally on your browser.

**โœจ What makes it different?**

* **Active Tracking:** It only tracks time when you are actually looking at the tab.

* **Smart Idle Detection:** If you walk away from your computer, the timer pauses automatically. No more inaccurate data!

* **Visual Dashboard:** Get a clear picture of your day with a daily donut chart and a GitHub-style heatmap of your productivity over the year.

* **Focus Mode:** Need to lock in? Block distracting sites (like YouTube) for 25-minute sprints.

* **Completely Private:** All data is stored in your browser's local storage. I literally can't see your data even if I wanted to.

Iโ€™d love to hear your feedback! If you have any feature requests (like data export, dark mode tweaks, etc.), let me know in the comments and I'll add them.
